I traveled to my hometown this evening to watch the University of Pikeville, which is the #1 team in NAIA, play the #2 team Mountain State at the East KY Expo Center.
Pikeville beat Mountain State last year in the NAIA Championship game and this was a huge rematch of the two best team in America.
I knew the game was going to be a good one, I just never thought a donnie brook would break out right in the middle of the game.
I also never thought my good friend and UPike head coach Kelly Wells would get thrown out of the game.

Pikeville ended up holding on at the end to beat Mountain State 98-93, but as you can tell that wasn’t the story of this game at all.
