De’Aaron Fox recently made a fan’s dream come true through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Here are more details from NBC Sports:
Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Kings fan Ryder Solberg, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, wanted one thing to come true: To meet Fox. The 22-year-old point guard was honored, to say the least.
“It’s extremely special to me,” Fox said in a video posted by the Kings’ social media team. “For someone doing what he had to go through … for all the people in the world that he could have chosen — with all the celebrities and all the athletes, him picking me out of all the millions of people he could have met, it’s definitely a very special feeling.”
