The winners were led by American forward Terrence Jones (206-92, college: Kentucky) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Troy Rosario (201-92) supported him with 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Even 27 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists by American forward Justin Brownlee (197-88, college: St.John’s) did not help to save the game for Ginebra Kings. Center Japeth Aguilar (206-87, college: WKU) added 27 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
