Former Kentucky forward Terrence Jones has been dominating the competition in the Philippines this summer.
Last week was no exception as Jones finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds in TNT Ka Tropa’s win over Hotshots.
For his efforts, Jones has been named Interperformances Player of the Week:
27-year old forward Terrence Jones (206-F-92) had a great game in the last round for league’s best team TNT Ka Tropa and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Hotshots (#5, 5-6) 98-83. It allowed TNT Ka Tropa to consolidate first place in the Filipino league. TNT Ka Tropa has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team’s last game Jones had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at TNT Ka Tropa, through which he has constantly improved. University of Kentucky graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jones is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 33.7ppg), rebounds (6th best: 16.1rpg) and averages solid 3.1bpg and 52.3% FGP.
Jones has led TNT Ka Tropa to a 10-1 record.
