Michigan State’s Tom Izzo was not happy with the play of Spartan’s freshman Aaron Henry and he made sure to let him know it.
Repeatedly.

Izzo made sure to let everyone know in the postgame press conference he wasn’t sorry for what he did either.
Tom Izzo was asked about getting after Aaron Henry.

I have no problem with tough love and families have quarrels all the time.
Basketball is a family and if the authority figure isn’t happy you probably have done something wrong that hurts the family.
I think this is tough love and if you don’t like it, don’t play the game.
Coach Cal basically did the same thing to Tyler Herro and a few years ago to Terrence Jones.
This happens all the time and is a case of the stage being a lot bigger in the NCAA Tournament and getting a whole lot more attention than a regular season game on Big Monday.
