The LSU Tigers and the Auburn Tigers both advanced to the Round of 32 with wins today in the NCAA Tournament.
The LSU Tigers held on Yale with a 79-74 win over Yale.
The Auburn Tigers pulled one off by the skin of their teeth as they beat New Mexico State 78-77.
The Aggies had a great chance to tie it at the end of the game but decided to go for the win with a three but then Auburn fouled the shooter.
Have to think underdog & coach told him to look for 3, since that is exactly why he just whipped this pass. pic.twitter.com/ZjuEWvLEFg

New Mexico State could only make 1 of 3 but the Tigers knocked the ball out of bounds.
Auburn got lucky as the last shot was an air ball and Bruce Pearl can rest easy now as he dodged a bullet.
