Charlotte Hornets team owner Michael Jordan gave Malik Monk a slap in the head after Monk made a bonehead mistake late in last night’s game vs. Detroit.
Monk ran onto the court to celebrate a win, but the clock hadn’t expired yet. The mistake led to a technical foul which could have lost the game for the Hornets.
Jordan let the young Monk know about the mistake:
Hornets owner Michael Jordan slaps Malik Monk twice in the back of the head for running onto the court and picking up a tech after Jeremy Lamb's shot with 0.3 seconds left.

Some people think Jordan went too far with the slaps to Monk’s head. Personally, I see nothing wrong with it. I think it was a teachable moment and Jordan was teaching Monk a lesson.
After the game, Jordan explained his intent:
“It was like a big brother and little brother tap. No negative intent. Only love,” Jordan told the Associated Press.
What do you think?
