Kentucky is No. 15 in the College Football Playoff Rankings and they could move up if a few scenarios play out this week.
First, the Wildcats need to dismantle Louisville Saturday night. Preferably, Benny Snell goes off and leads Kentucky to an eye-opening win. The way the Cards have looked lately, it could happen.
Kentucky (8-3) will also need a few teams in the top 14 to lose this week.
Here are some games that will impact the standings:
– No. 4 Michigan at No. 10 Ohio State (go Wolverines!)
– No. 14 Texas at Kansas (this one isn’t likely, but cheer for chaos)
– No. 9 UCF at South Florida (big rivalry game, at USF; can the Bulls beat the fake defending national champs?)
– No. 6 Oklahoma at No. 13 West Virginia (a loss here would drop the Mountaineers after last week’s loss)
– No. 16 Washington at No. 8 Washington State (huge game in the PAC 12)
– No. 11 Florida at Florida State (the Gators should already be behind Kentucky; a loss here would do it)
– Maryland at No. 12 Penn State (hopefully the Terrapins can finish out an upset bid this week)
– No. 7 LSU at No. 22 Texas A&M (as we know, College Station is a tough place to get a win)
