UK won two games in 2012, the season before Stoops arrived, followed by two wins in 2013, five in 2014 and ’15, and seven in 2016, ’17 and ’18.
– UK is 7-1, the best start of a season since the 1977 team went 10-1.
– UK is 5-1 in the SEC, clinching the first winning league record since the 1977 team went 6-0.
– UK has 13 SEC wins over the last three seasons, tying the school record for most conference victories over a three-year period, as the 1976-78 teams also won 13 SEC games.
– UK is 16-6 in its last 22 regular-season games, best 22-game regular-season stretch since Nov. 13, 1976 to Nov. 11, 1978 (15-5-1).
– UK is 12-7 in its last 19 SEC games, the best 19-game stretch since Nov. 20, 1976 to Nov. 24, 1979 (12-7).
– Mark Stoops has 33 wins at Kentucky, moving past Harry Gamage (1927-33) for sixth place in school history.
