If you are a Kentucky Football fan you are probably worried about the passing game under the supervision of Terry Wilson.
Wilson has struggled mightily the last couple of games, including a 3-9 for 18 yard performance last week vs. Vanderbilt.
Mark Stoops was asked about the quarterback situation today and more important Wilson’s confidence and if it is an issue.
“I don’t know. I don’t think so. I talked to Terry today, before this, and he doesn’t see it that way. We need to watch the film and get some things corrected and get back on the field. Certainly we have to look at all options, again like we always have. I’ve always said that Terry is our starting quarterback. He’s going to start this week.”
Stoops went on to talk about having backup quarterback Gunnar Hoak ready to go at Missouri this week in case things aren’t working out for Wilson.
“We certainly need to look at the other guys and see if they could get an opportunity to get in there and play and help us. We’ll have a plan, and we’ll work Gunnar (Hoak) pretty extensively this week and have him ready to play as well.”
It sounds like Coach Stoops is leaning more and more to giving Hoak a shot if Wilson continues his shaky performance behind center.
The BBN can’t wait to see how it shakes out.
