The FBI’s investigation into corruption in college basketball is back in the news this week as prosecutors are delivering their case in a courtroom.
Today, some explosive news came out about the University of Louisville:

Prosecutors did bring up that ex U of L asst Kenny Johnson paid Brian Bowen's family $1,300 and ex asst Jordan Fair gave $900 regarding a separate unnamed recruit.

Relatively uneventful morning at the trial, but the government did say that Kenny Johnson gave Brian Bowen Sr. $1300 and Jordan Fair gave a different recruit $900.
Louisville compliance director said he was unaware of the payments at the time.

Bowen signed with Louisville after $100000 deal promised to his father. Dawkins: "It got done in what, two three days? It was very simple and everybody won."

During secret recording played in court today, Christian Dawkins and Merl Code both described Oregon's offer to Brian Bowen to sign there as "astronomical" but no details provided. Bowen was set to go to Oregon but Code said, "let me work the phones and get something done."
