Karl-Anthony Towns got paid.
Adrian Wojonarowski reported last night during the Kentucky Football game that the former Kentucky star has become the highest paid player in the NBA.
In a deal that cements him as the franchise’s long-term cornerstone, Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns has agreed to a five-year, $190 million super-maximum extension, league sources told ESPN.
Devin Booker made sure to give Karl a hard time about the huge contract by telling him he will help him out with some of that cash.
