Former Kentucky forward Alex Poythress was waived by the Indiana Pacers Friday.
Poythress is still playing for the Pacers summer league team, but he will have to find a contract with another team.
The Indiana Pacers have renounced the free agents rights to Trevor Booker and Joe Young. They also waived Alex Poythress.
Poythress was fully non-guaranteed, so no cap hit for Indiana.
