The kHSAA Boys Sweet 16 begins tomorrow and there are a ton of exciting matchups on Wednesday and Thursday in the first round.

A couple of quick notes:
* University Heights plays Campbell County Thursday at 12pm. UHA is led by junior guard KyKy Tandy who just so happens to be a Kentucky Basketball 2019 recruit. John Calipari watched Tandy in UHA’s regional tournament win over Christian County.
* In what many think is the actual state championship game, Scott County vs. Trinity tips off Wednesday at 1:30pm. These have been the top 2 throughout the season and it would be no surprise whoever wins this one will cut down the nets Sunday afternoon.
* Iowa signee CJ Fredrick will help lead Covington Catholic, the team with the best student section, as the favorite to win the bottom portion of the bracket and challenge either Scott County or Trinity for the title.
*Estill County will tip the tournament off Wednesday at 12pm as they make their first trip to Rupp Arena in the school’s history.
