The Southeastern Conference received no favors in terms of travel for the NCAA Tournament.
Every NCAA Tournament team from the SEC, that’s all eight teams, must travel more than 400 miles for their first tournament game.
Auburn, the co-SEC regular season champions, will be playing 2,059 miles from home.
All these are ridiculous. No common sense whatsoever. pic.twitter.com/XDbtEU1mWp

Any Kentucky fans considering a drive to Boise? You better hit the road soon. It’s a 29-hour drive from Lexington to Boise.

The shortest drive for any SEC team is roughly 6 1/2 hours (Columbia, Missouri to Nashville).
In other words, most fans are either flying or watching at home.
Way to go Selection Committee. You knocked it out of the park once again.
