Kentucky’s SEC Tournament Fate Comes Down to Arkansas vs. Missouri

Now that Kentucky has lost at Florida, the Wildcats will either be the 4 or 5 seed in the SEC Tournament.

The 4 seed gets a bye into the quarterfinals…the 5 seed has to play an extra game.

Here’s what it all comes down to:

* With the win, Florida is now the No. 3 seed in the SEC Tournament.

* Kentucky is the No. 4 seed in the SEC Tournament if Arkansas loses at Missouri tonight at 6:00 p.m. ET (ESPN2), the Wildcats would play the No. 5, 12 or 13 seed at 3:30 p.m. ET in the quarterfinals on Friday.

* Kentucky is the No. 5 seed in the SEC Tournament if Arkansas wins at Missouri. This scenario would take away UK’s double-bye and the Wildcats would have to play the 12-13 winner at 3:30 p.m. ET on Thursday. A win Thursday would set up a rematch with the Razorbacks at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday.
