There is crazy, then there is college basketball this season.
Three top 10 teams, including Auburn, lost at home last night. The No. 8 Tigers fell at home 81-80 to Texas A&M.
It’s true that A&M was given a very favorable call that ultimately decided the game:
Hey, @SEC, train your refs better. That “blocking” foul on Auburn at the end of the gm w/A&M was pure and total garbage. Whistle happened after the play was completely done. Defender est pos long b4 ball got there. Pathetic. #WDE #AUrobbed

WOW. Awful foul call on Auburn with two seconds to go.

The biggest head scratcher of the night was St. John’s 79-75 win on the road over No. 1 Villanova. In their last two games, St. John’s (12-13) has defeated two top 5 teams (Duke).

Lastly, No. 14 Ohio State escaped No. 3 Purdue with a 64-63 win to take over the top spot in the Big Ten standings.
