A’dia Mathies made a layup with 4.4 seconds left on the clock as the UK Hoops team battled back to beat Arkansas 55-54 in Memorial Coliseum.
Mathies led Kentucky with 17 points on 7-19 shooting.
Victoria Dunlap had 12 points and 7 rebounds and freshman Brittany Henderson chipped in 10 points.
Kentucky overcame horrific shooting, as they shot just 33.3% from the field. They were also just as bad from the 3 as they shot 5-20 for 25%.
This was the last home game for Victoria Dunlap and Carly Morrow and I am sure it is one they won’t forget anytime soon.
