Kentucky, led by Player of the Year A’dia Mathies’ 24 points, came back from 13 down to beat Florida 71-67 in the Quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament in Nashville. This was the third time Kentucky has beaten the Gators this season.
Kentucky scores just one field goal in the final 9:18 but makes 17 of 20 free throws down the stretch to move on to play the winner of LSU and Arkansas which is at 7:30 tonight.
Keyla Snowden had a big day as well, scoring 17 points, as she kept the Wildcats close in the first half scoring 9.
Bria Goss had a tough shooting day, but had several big offensive rebounds in the second half, as she finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds.
Kentucky will play tomorrow at 4pm in the semifinals.
