Wildcats Men’s Soccer Tops IUPUI 1-0

The Kentucky Wildcats men’s soccer team brought home a 1-0 victory on Sunday against IUPUI as Jordan Rose scored the only goal of the game. The Wildcats, now 2-0-0 earned the UK Invite tournament championship with the win. Kentucky will return to action on Friday, hosting the Wildcat Invitational. The Wildcats will host Loyola Marymount on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET and Houston Baptist on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET at the UK Soccer Complex. [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

The Wildcats placed four members of the team on the UKIT All-Tournament team, including Beadle, Riggs, Rose and freshman defender Dylan Asher. IUPUI and UNC Asheville tied for second in the tournament, each posting a win and a loss. Eastern Illinois suffered a 3-0 defeat to UNCA in the first game Sunday, finishing fourth in the four-team tournament.
