if you listen closely to the around the horn clip discussing coach cal’s contract extension, the last analyst says that coach cal will wiun 3 championships within the 8 years of his current contract. this would put him among a group of coaches including: Wooden, Rupp, Calhoun, Knight, and coach K (are there any others? i don’t think “Phog” Allen or Dean Smith did, but not sure) he is already a member of an even more exclusive group having taken 3 programs to the final four, so its not inconceivable that is could happen, but all but wooden got their first 3 over a longer period than 8 years. I believe that he can get 3 titles, but what does the rest of BBN think?
