March Madness is officially here and the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket is set.
The Kentucky Wildcats lost in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament to Tennessee, but still managed to earn No. 2 seed in the East Region. The Wildcats will face Saint Peter’s in the First Round with a potential second round game against either Murray State or San Francisco.

The top seed in the East Region is Baylor. Other top 5 seeds are Purdue, UCLA and Saint Mary’s.
Auburn also landed a No. 2 seed. The Tigers will battle the likes of Kansas, Wisconsin, Providence and Iowa in the Midwest Region.
Tennessee, despite a convincing win over Kentucky and their first SEC Tournament title in 43 years, managed to get a No. 3 seed in the South Region. The Volunteers are in the South with Arizona, Villanova, Illinois and Houston.
In the West, Gonzaga is the top seed in a region that appears strong with Duke, Texas Tech, Arkansas and Connecticut.
Texas A&M, which seemed to do enough in Tampa to earn a bid, was somehow left out of the field, while Michigan (17-14) and Indiana were rewarded with spots.
