Wiltjer Picks Cats?

A Gonzaga website is reporting that Kyle Wiltjer has picked Kentucky.

Just saw this from coast2coastrecruiting.net:

Slipperstillfits.com (Gonzaga Site) is reporting that 2011 Center Kyle Wiltjer will pick Kentucky this afternoon at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game.

Prized 2011 power forward Kyle Wiltjer has made his decision and he will take his game to Lexington and play for John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.
That was tough to write.

Gonzaga, Cal, and Kansas were the other schools that Kyle was deciding on.

This is pretty surprising news, since all signs were Kyle committing to Gonzaga. I guess we will all have to watch the Elite 24 tonight on ESPNU to find out for sure.

I just read that Wiltjet had let the Zags know he was going east to play basketbakk for Coach Cal and the Kentucky Wildcats. I wonder if new Assist. Coach Kenny Payne had any input on this recruitment being that he has spent a lot of years in the Portland area. This commitment should make Slick Rick real happy and give cal a good shot at the third #1 rank recruiting class. LOOKING GOOD COACH CAL AND YOUR WILDCATS.
