UK Hoops Tickets Go On Sale

And so do tickets to hear Coach Mitchell sing. Actually those are free, but more on that in a moment. First, UK Hoops season tickets are now available. The ticket price is $45 and will get you in to fifteen home games at Memorial Coliseum. The UK Hoops schedule is set to be released later this week but will include eight SEC home games out of the fifteen.

To purchase tickets, visit the Joe Craft Center in person or call 1-800-928-2287. New season ticket holders will be assigned seats based upon availability after the current season ticket holder renewal deadline of Sept. 9. Season tickets will be mailed two weeks prior to the first regular-season home game on Nov. 12.

Current season ticket holders may renew their season tickets online by logging into their My UK Account at UKAthletics.com/tickets or over the phone at 1-800-928-2287. Paper invoices will be mailed within the next two weeks. The renewal deadline is Sept. 9.

Now on to Coach Mitchell breaking out the vocals. "Mitchell, who is the former lead singer of the band known as "Coach Mitchell and the B Team," will dust off his microphone and take center stage once again when he performs with "The Johnson Brothers" at the Moondance Performing Arts Amphitheater Friday, August 20. The newly built amphitheater is located in the heart of Beaumont Centre on Moonlight Pass. Also performing is Jim Richardson with Reilly Richardson."

If that alone isn't exciting enough, you can get free hotdogs if you're in eighth grade or lower. If you can't cash in on the free wieners, you can bring some green back and purchase other refreshments while you listen to great (perhaps...) music and support the UK Hoops head coach!
