UK Hoops had no trouble at all with Delaware State today as the #6 ranked Wildcats won 90-50 in front of 4,637 people at Memorial Coliseum.
Delaware State couldn’t handle Kentucky’s pressure, as most teams can’t, committing 31 turnovers while the Wildcats scored 53 points off of those miscues.
Kentucky was led in scoring by pre-season All American A’dia Mathies’ 16 points. Mathies was 6-10 from the field, 4-7 from behind the arc, and dished out 6 assists.
Bria Goss had 16 and Denesha Stallworth had 11 as Kentucky only had 3 players in double figures. Every other player on Matthew Mitchell’s club played and scored, which totals 13 different players getting into the scoring column.
UK Hoops now travels to Baylor to play the defending national champions in Waco on Tuesday.
