UK Hoops Blasts Miami(Ohio) 92-53
Bernisha Pinkett’s first career double double leads UK Hoops to a 92-53 victory over Miami(Ohio) in front of a season high 6,476 in attendance on Education Day. Sixth graders from area schools covered one side of Memorial Coliseum.
Pinkett finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 8-13 from the field and 3-6 from behind the arc.
Four other players finished in double figures for Kentucky as the team finished 33-66 from the field for a cool 50% for the game.
A’dia Mathies and freshman Janee Thompson had 14 points, while Bria Goss and Denesha Stallworth both ended up with 12.
UK Hoops now goes on the road Sunday to play Louisville on ESPNU.
