UK commit Karl Towns set to play, game canceled

Karl Towns was looking forward to playing in front of home crowd in Louisville this Saturday, the Red State-Blue State games, a doubleheader of highschool games – Chicago Whitney Young vs. Tennessee‘s Evangelical Christian and Ballard versus Towns-led St. Joseph of Metuchen, N.J. – but the event has been canceled. Tickets purchased for Saturday’s games will be refunded.
Towns has been excited about Kentucky basketball, he trained and was coached by Calipari being part of the Dominican national team last summer.
