UK after Amile Jefferson?
The Philly native could be the next Wildcat recruit

As reported by multiple sources, and most recently by ESPN, Kentucky has now targeted talented forward Amile Jefferson and begun putting the full court press on him. The Philly native is a tough combo forward who can put the ball on the floor, rebound, and make plays. While he has trouble from hitting shots from range the work ethic is there and there is little doubt that he will be able to extend his range out to the three point line. His athleticism is off the charts and he routinely slashes down the baseline for easy baskets or scoring over bigger and stronger defenders.
He only weighs 190 pounds right now, so he will have to put more weight on if he is going to play the four at the next level. Players in his mold have had decent success in recent years, most recently C.J. Fair of the Syracuse Orange last season.
With that type of comparison it's no surprise that schools such as Syracuse, West Virginia, Villanova, Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia Tech are all after the top fifty prospect as well.
If Kentucky is looking at him, then you have to think that Amile would be a nice plan B to Alex Poythress, and if not a very talented compliment to what should be another fantastic recruiting class.
