• Much has been said about Tony Wroten Jr. and his use of twitter. He continues to make waves and with UK out of the Austin Rivers race, Wroten may find himself back in the good graces at UK. However, Wroten was disappointing that Calipari did not attend all of his games in a recent tournament.

    Here's an excerpt from Seattleballers.com

He has yet to decide where he will be attending college but his top two choices are Washington and Kentucky. Wroten expressed his displeasure in John Calipari at the Fab 48 Vegas tournament on twitter.

Noting that Calipari did not attend all his games like Lorenzo Romar had. It was in this Vegas tournament that Wroten solidified himself as the best player in the country again. He terrorized the competition and took over the scoring load for his team when they needed it. If you are not already following Tony Wroten on Twitter, you should be.

He makes a lot of brash statements, but in general his twitter provides quality entertainment. Wroten recently tweeted “#ToBeHonest. If I’m not top 5 in the country then there shouldn’t b any rankings. Not being cocky just telling y’all how I feel.” He seems to be cut from the same cloth as Seattle’s own Brandon Roy and Jamal Crawford who both mentor him.
You can read the entire article here..

You should also take note that In the past, Quincy Miller has stated he would love for Wroten to be his point guard. This alone makes me think that UofL is not out of the question. Here's a video of Wroten "doin work"!

"Not being cocky..."? Yes Tony, that's exactly what you're being. I'm sorry you're not pleased with Calipari, but if you keep up the attitude, you'd be riding the bench at Kentucky anyway.

With that kind of attitude..........I don't want him at Kentucky. He shows that he is definitely NOT a team player.

This young man does not realize that Coach Cal or any coach has other important things to do. They spend as much time as possible watching recruits play. If he isn't happy with the amount of time Cal spent watching him then he needs to get a life some where else. We know he is very good but our program will not die without him. Ask him what other coach has done for more his players than Coach Cal. Enough Said. GO BIG BLUE

I'm gettin the feeling Coach doesnt want him anyway, same reason he cooled off on Miller...attitude. Players shouldnt care about rankings. And if he's that great, then why did he actually drop in the rankings? Cal would rather have Trevor Lacey or someone else IMO. Wroten is a slasher and not a shooter from what I gather and he already has that in Teaque in Gilchrist. He needs a true sg and if Daniels were to join the roster this year, that's one less scholarship and I'm sure he's not gonna waste it on Wroten. Tony, Seattle can have you.
