Suns Recall Archie Goodwin From D-League

The Phoenix Suns recalled Archie Goodwin from the Bakersfield Jam. Phoenix originally assigned the rookie to the D-League on Thursday. Goodwin scored 59 points in his two D-League appearances, averaging 29.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 44.0 minutes.

Goodwin on his time with Bakersfield:

“It was a good experience to get some playing time,” Goodwin said. “It helped to work on some things I needed to work on but I’m glad to be back.

“I enjoyed my time but I want to be here for the remainder. I learn a lot from watching these guys play and competing and practicing with those guys.”

Goodwin rejoined the team Sunday, but did not play in the Suns 99-90 win over the Cavaliers.
