Orlando Antigua at Madison Central Today Presumably to Check Out Dominique Hawkins
It looks like Kentucky is definitely in the market for a backup point guard in 2013.
Orlando Antigua had been in eastern Kentucky checking out Cordia point guard Emmanuel Owootoah 2 weeks ago, and it was reported he was going to watch him last Friday, but did not.
Now, Antigua is at Madison Central checking out Dominique Hawkins.
The 6’1″ point guard, who scored 29 points at the Marshall County Hoopfest vs the Harrison Twins, is high on the list for Morehead State and Western Kentucky and received some interest from Louisville in recent weeks.

Many among the local media has been wondering when Kentucky would get involved with Hawkins, who I think is a sleeper to win Kentucky Mr. Basketball.
Also worth noting, Dominique Hawkins is the nephew of Kentucky grad assistant Marquis Estill.
The talent level is picking up in Kentucky and it seems like John Calipari is definitely taking notice.
