Neal Brown Reportedly High on List for Southern Miss
The hottest name for the offensive coordinator’s job at Kentucky has been Texas Tech’s Neal Brown and many have reported that it is basically a done deal and could be announced as early as today.
Well, here is another report that says he could possibly be the next Southern Miss head football coach.

I had heard from someone yesterday that Neal Brown would be very interested in being a head coach, but the school I had heard was Louisiana Tech, if and when Sonny Dykes left and took another job.
It was reported that Brown was planning on meeting with Mark Stoops last night, but if all of this is true and he is in line for a head coaching job, one would think there won’t be an announcement anytime soon.
Unless Stoops hires someone else.
Hat Tip to John Clay for tweet.
