We start with a quick shout out to Molly Johnson and UK Softball. Molly just wrapped up the World Cup of Softball while playing on the United States Futures team. She was an instrumental part in the futures team going 3-3 with two wins over Canada and one over Japan.
On UK Football news, ESPN ranked UK's Linbackers at #8 in the SEC. There's definitely not a lot of experience. I guess we'll have to wait to see how Operation Win's Boot Camp has prepared our "D" for this season. It doesn't really matter who's playing QB, if our defense is not able to stop anyone.
UK's Basketball recruiting shows no sign of slowing down as Austin Rivers and Trevor Lacey have UK on their final list of schools. UK also made an offer to 2012 recruit Brandon Ashley. Who knows, at this pace, we should be recruiting the 2016 class by the end of the year. It's just amazing how Coach Calipari has turned around UK's recruiting.
