Mike Leach, You’re Not Welcome Here!

The Cougar Head Coach isn’t welcome at DeSoto High School anymore after pulling offer to recruit, Yahoo blog Dr. Saturday reports. He’s in trouble with the school after offering, then pulling a scholarship offer to a player. Claude Mathis, high school coach, said that Leach is not welcome to come back to the school.

“You just don’t do a kid like that,” DeSoto coach Claude Mathis told the Dallas Morning News. “Washington State isn’t welcome at DeSoto any longer.”

Is he banned for life?

DeSoto, which is near Dallas, is well known for its football heritage that includes NFL players like Denver Broncos star outside linebacker Von Miller. DeSoto made the 5A Division I semifinals last year. It’s not a school a college coach wants to be banned from.
