What a ride this year!

by LindaS on March 27th, 2010 at 10:41 PM
:uk: We all have off nights & tonight happened to be the teams third one of the year out of 38. I don't want to hear one person criticize this team. Do you think you could have done better? Do you think you could coach better? Would you want the last 4-6 years back? I am so proud how these young men have played this year. So proud of Patrick for completing his degree and showing what it means to be a Kentucky Basketball Player, proud of Cousins learning to control his temper & growing up and thankful for his sense of humor. Proud of John Wall for not only being a wonderful freshman player but being an outstanding student as well. I’m proud of Eric for not being disappointed in not being the ‘show’ every game but playing as a team member and having a very remarkable season. I’m proud of Miller for his defense, Liggins for getting back to where he belonged. Orton for being there when we needed him. I’m thankful for Dodson and for his show of strength. I’m proud of every one of the boys on the team. Hold your heads high young men, you have helped bring back the glory to Kentucky. You have embraced the tradition of the Kentucky program. And thank you Coach Cal, I’m proud to call myself a Kentucky Basketball fan. There are so many reasons to be proud and grateful this year, I'm going to miss the young men who are not going to be here next year. However, I can’t wait until October, it won’t get here soon enough! GO CATS! 38-3 What a year! :cat:
