For everyone saying UK plays a weak schedule, here's a lil something for the haters: UK's schedule vs top 25 teams this year (as of 12/1): Kansas (15), UNC (5), Louisville (6), Alabama (12), Florida (10), Vandy (20), Miss St (21), Florida again (10), and Vandy again (20). So for schedule toughness I look at top 25 games for each team, counting teams played twice as games. 9 top 25 games for UK. That's gotta be as many top 25 games as any team in NCAA. Def more top 25 games than UNC, Duke, Ohio State, UCONN, Syracuse, etc. Only team with as many top 25 games is Louisville (that I could find). These are based on current AP top 25. Big Blue Nation #true**** '48, '49, '51, '58, '78, '96, '98', and next 2012.
I live in Richmond, attend EKU and work in Lexington and surrounding counties for Best Choice Roofing. Have lived here for 15 years (since I was ten). Even before I moved here, I was part of the Big Blue Nation. Relatives living in and around Lexington taught me about the UK basketball tradition for as long as I can remember. When I moved here in '95 I got to see the teams Pitino put together (living in-state), and finally got to attend my first UK games at Rupp Arena. I will always bleed blue whether I live in Lexington or anywhere else. I've bought vehicles from Toyota on Nicholasville, simply because Mashburn has an interest in the ownership LOL. I bleed blue
