Will Commonwealth Stadium have more in attendance this season for the Spring Game?

Kentucky Football head coach Mark Stoops has announced the date and time of the annual Spring Game this morning on twitter.

The spring game is set for Saturday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. Let’s pack CWS for the first of many times in 2013. #WeAreUK

As John Clay of the Lexington Herald pointed out, this is the same day as the Bluegrass Stakes at Keeneland.

Sounds like a perfect day for a horse racing/football doubleheader.
