Kentucky Women’s Tennis Heads to Ohio State

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will square off with No. 55 Ohio State on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET in Columbus, Ohio.
The Wildcats enter Tuesday’s contest following a disappointing 6-1 loss to No. 59 Tulane in New Orleans on Saturday. Freshman Kirsten Lewis recorded Kentucky’s lone win, defeating Caroline Magnusson 0-6, 7-6 (1-0) (7) in the No. 5 slot.
The Buckeyes are 4-1 on the year after dropping their recent match with Nebraska 4-2. Kara Cecil, Kelsey Dieters, Grainne O’Neill and Gabby Steele lead Ohio State with four dual-match wins on the year.
Ranked No. 78, freshman Nadia Ravita is 4-1 on the year in the No. 1 singles slot. Sophomore Stephanie Fox also boasts a 4-1 record on the year.
