If you were unfortunate and missed the Wildcats exhibition games in Canada, you missed rare early glimpse at the future of the program. There were some ups (overall they played well) and downs (Jones, Kanter and Vargas) of the trip but overall Coach Cal and the staff seem pleased with the outcome. "We're probably ahead, we are ahead" Coach Cal said about the progress of the Cats compared to other programs at this time of the year. It was great to watch these games and I think everyone witnessed solid progress out of the team. Brandon Knight is fast, Darius Miller is shooting, Liggins is more aggressive and overall the squad looked pretty good. Cal said the weekend was the best $35,000 the program has ever spent.
