Kentucky Hustles to Victory over Lipscomb
The lack of effort in the second half had been a concern for the young Kentucky Wildcats, but that all changed today as Kentucky beat Lipscomb 88-50 in front of 21,323 in Rupp Arena.
Kentucky outscored Lipscomb 45-21 in the 2nd half after a week of Camp Cal and really makes you think the Wildcats are starting to get it.
Kyle Wiltjer had probably his best game as a Wildcat, earning his first career double double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, while knocking down 7 from behind the arc.
Ryan Harrow got his first start today and didn’t give any reason for it to be his last. Harrow finished with 12 points and looked the most comfortable he had looked since coming to Kentucky.
The rest of the scoring was as follows: Poythress 11, Goodwin 10, Cauley-Stein 8, Polson 7, Mays 7, Hood 3.
