Kentucky 3rd in SEC Power Rankings
After last night’s loss, the Kentucky Basketball team is looking to pick up the pieces Saturday at home vs. Baylor.
It will be the first step in getting back to where everyone expects them to be, which is the top team in the SEC.
ESPN has released their new SEC Power Rankings and the Young Wildcats come in at #3 behind Florida and Missouri.
3. Kentucky. John Calipari’s young squad has been battered by some of the nation’s top teams, suffering losses to Duke and Notre Dame (on the road). The 14-point loss against the Fighting Irish on Thursday was a blow to its ego but the Wildcats could shake it off Saturday if they get a win over Baylor.
Young is the key word for this Kentucky team, but the season is also young so there is time to fix and teach this very young squad.
