Karl Towns Eventually Will Be a Kentucky Wildcat
I don’t think it was hard to figure out, but Karl Towns and the Kentucky coaching staff have a different relationship than any other coach.
This was evident during a recent workout for the 2015 star with Orlando Antigua plus many other coaches and scouts in attendance.
But after one coach noticed Towns’s mother, Jackie, spending most of the night speaking with Antigua, he couldn’t help but come to this conclusion: “He’s going to Kentucky.”
The 6-foot-11 Towns is only a rising sophomore and still a long way from making a decision, but there’s no doubt Kentucky, which offered him a scholarship earlier this month, stands in a unique position with him.
Wildcats coach John Calipari and Antigua coached him all summer with the Dominican Republic National Team that played an exhibition against Team USA in Las Vegas.
While Towns may ultimately end up at Kentucky in 2015, he’s still going through the process right now.
I think it would be a complete upset if Towns goes anywhere but kentucky considering he played for the Dominican National team this past summer for Calipari and Antigua.
I guess a lot can happen in 3 years time though.
