Julius Randle, a Dallas native is going home this weekend. Randle’s mom, Carolyn Kyles, had to leave at halftime of last night’s game to go back to Texas so she could get to work today and didn’t get to celebrate with her son. Now she will get to see her son play right in her own backyard. Julius told reporters after the game “I’m going home to my mom.”

Ben Roberts sent out this tweet.

Randle led Kentucky over Michigan finishing with 16 points, 11 rebounds and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Midwest Region.

Tell her, on behalf of all UK fans, THANK YOU for raising such a fine, decent young man. Whatever you do, wherever you go I wish you nothing but; happiness, stability, success, joy, good health and peace.
