James Coley Likely to Join Stoops’ Staff
The rumors have been rampant as quickly as Mark Stoops was hired that FSU offensive coordinator James Coley would join him in Lexington.
Many have speculated that Texas Tech OC and Kentucky alum Neal Brown would come home to be the offensive coordinator, but it was pretty hard to register how both he and Coley could fit into the offensive side of the ball.
Many think Coley will indeed come to Lexington, but in a different capacity than offensive coordinator.
.@toddnky If Coley comes, there’s no guarantee he’s coming as OC. Could be recruiting coordinator, etc.

There has still been no word if Neil Brown has been contacted about the position, but I have spoke to a couple of people that he would be interested if the opportunity presented itself.
Should be an interesting press conference Sunday when Mark Stoops is officially presented as head football coach, because I would say there is a good chance we will find more about the staff for the upcoming season.
