Jackson Davis Works Out for Illinois; Grabs an Offer

Lafayette sophomore Jackson Davis worked out today and Illinois assistant coach Jerrance Howard was in attendance.

I spoke with Jackson's dad Jonathan earlier this evening and he told me that Howard extended an offer, but Illini Head Coach Bruce Weber would be traveling to Lexington to confirm the offer next week.

Davis also said that Xavier and Indiana would be by this week, with Purdue and Louisville stopping in next week.

Davis has taken an unoffical visit to the University of Kentucky and is definitely gaining a ton of attention from major D1 border state schools.
