Who Do You Think Should Play QB?

Unhappy fan, what would you do at the QB position?????????......BBN502

This is tough. You can look at Michigan, and what they've done with their playmaker, Denard Robinson playing QB. But then also put into consideration that UK has no where near as strong an offensive line as Michigan. Without Cobb at WR, we have maybe, and I'm stretching it here, maybe 3 good Wide Recievers, so who would he throw it to? I think a lot of people may be surprised next year at how well Mossakowsi does, and he may even take the starting QB job. He's a 4 star recruit, while Newton was only a 3. So for right now I think Mike Hartline, with some Wildcat from Cobb is the best combination for QB. Next year, I hope we can do what Auburn has done with Kodi Burns, and move Newton to a WR position that also plays QB alot, but we'll just have to see. So Hartline/Cobb for me (There's not a choice in the poll for that one).

Mossakowsi should be the starter next year for sure....

I meant for basic QB duties. I say run the Wild Cobb no matter who's QB unless it's Cobb at full time QB.....BBN502

I voted Hartline. The kid is having a tremendous year, even though other things aren't working out so well. Back to back career games are impressive, no way to look over that.

No doubt he's having a great season and he is a good QB. He just isn't a leader or a star. He just doesn't got it. Cobb is a star and he has the star factor but i still think they should use a Hartline/Newton combo at QB with the WildCobb to get that guy plenty of touches. They need to mix up the play calling a bit and confuse or alter the defenses. I hope they make some changes for the good of the program because to the other sec teams we are a big joke....BBN502

Keep the WildCobb but put in Mossakowsi! Hartline has started stepping up but he just doesn't have the leadership qualities this football team needs. Cobb has proved that!!!

Hartline has had a surprisingly good year (to me) and I'd let him finish the year out. It will be interesting to see who steps up next year between Moss and Newton, although based on who has played behind Hartline the most this year Newton is ahead right now. I wish Hartline could throw the deep ball better because we have had some big plays that were just barely missed because of his lack of arm strength on those. Overall, he's played far better than I could have imagined so my hat's off to him. Go Big Blue!!

I just dont think Hartline is much of a leader at all... yes hes had some great games, but for the majority he makes too many mistakes... I understand all players make mistakes in games, thats just the way it is... but he make too many in my opinion...

ah **** mike flatline. does anybody remember what morgan newton did in the bowl game against clemson his first year. well he was very impressive. He reminds me of cam newton from auburn. big body qb, powerful, quick is not afraid to take a hit. Newton should of been the starter all year.
