Thread: Tee Martin hired as WR Coach at UK

Ol' Dirty Vol, the one that took Peyton Manning's Vols to the National Championship game has left his position at New Mexico as Quarterbacks Coach to take a position on Joker Phillips staff as the Wide Receivers coach. I question the move his move to become a wideout coach. The hire obviously was due to Randy Sanders being here though. What is everyone's thoughts on the hire?

I think its an excellent hire. Nobody hates Tennessee more than me. NOBODY. So yeah at first I was taken aback, but all the Vol-hatin' aside, Tee Martin is an EXCELLENT recruitor. Not good. Not slightly above average, but EXCELLENT. I dont think it has much to do with being a "recievers coach" as it is recruiting. He is one of the top young recruiters in the country, and it will pay huge dividends for the Cats.

I think it's great to see we now have a new WILDCAT Tee Martin along with Randy Saunders i'm sure Tennessee wishes they had Saunders back these days.

As long as he can get the job done, that's what matters to me. This is just part of the business.
