Thread: Do You Think the Cats Should Wear Black Uniforms?

no, mabe add some black to them... but I've loved the blue and white for years...

In my high school, for one game each year, we get to wear black alternate uniforms. I am a fan of that, so I am obviously in favor of doing this one game a year. I think black uniforms look great in general, but I am sure many would disagree. I'm more of a "new school" type of kid, instead of an "old school."

It would also be a good way to earn revenue for the team.

Our school colors are blue and white. Our uniform colors should also be blue and white. The notion that "black" somehow improves something totally bypasses me.

The last time I checked our colors are Blue and White. Where does black come in? They have played in black at least one time in the past. Personally I didn't like it at all. Why not wear red or green if school colors don't mean anything?

I always thought that recruiting has to do with coaches, tradition, coaches, facilities and coaches. If it were as simple as the uniform you wear everybody would be wearing loud, gaudy uniforms and winning titles. Personally I think Oregon is where they are because of two things. Coaches and coaches. They had a guy named Brooks that got their program going in the right direction and then they have current coaches that are doing amazing things with recruiting and coaching. Flash is one of those magic pills that catches your eye but has no substance. Be careful what you wish for. The next thing you know the UK players will run on the field looking like race car drivers with sponsor logos all over their uniforms. That might bring in more money than the K-Fund!!

I personally don't like the black uniforms, but apparently the players do and have asked for them repeatedly. If it's that important to them, I say let them have it once in a while.

Why black? Why not purple? Why not green? Why not pink? Black looks good in cowboy hats, but should stop there.
