I don't condone unsportsmanlike conduct in any game... but I don't blame Bledsoe for laying it to as Dicky V stated Mr. Taylor the superstar.. Superstar.. LOL.. sorry just had to laugh about that one Dicky V.. but back to my statement... After that push to let Mr. Taylor know that he "Bledsoe" didn't like being held.. ummmm Mr. Taylor didn't hold him much after that did he ?.... Hey Dicky V.. it wasn't a flagrant foul BAAABY... get over it... LOL oh yeah I usually mute the game when Vitale is the comentator.. just cant handle it

I would not say we play dirty by any means, but when pushed we push back, and we do it with authority, so no I would say we dont play dirty.

My thought is that players do need to control tempers. I, however, played basketball through my high school years and know that a lot more happens and is said on the court than any fan watching the game could possibly know. If you watch Taylor was actually leaning on Bledsoe, which is a foul by the true definition (a player using contact to gain an unfair advantage or position). and how many times prior to Bledsoe's shove did this happen.

I blame the sad excuse for referring I have seen this year. I have watched men's and women's games from the SEC, ACC, Big 10 and Big East (mostly) that didn't include my beloved Wildcats and thought that the refs are inconsistent and let the game get out of hand then when a play gets out of hand due to temper or almost injury the try to "gain control". This only adds to the frustration of players. Now, I will never condone violence as an answer, but remember that we are dealing with college KIDS that do need to learn that the nation is watching and critizing their every move. Because of that every move needs to be seriously considered by them, but let's also teach them that others are held to high standards of excellence too.

I can't believe what I'm reading..some UK fans think that the Cats play dirty.
With all hype that Big Cuz has taken because they say he is short tempered player who takes cheap shots when ever he can..
Bledsoe pushing off Taylor like he did..
So who and the hells to blame..The Leagues, the Refs, and AD of the schools..
Basketball is a NON CONTACT SPORT>period..
The other "football " type leagues like the Big East, Big Ten have caused the problem to spread throught out the college game by playing this way in the NCAA tournaments from years gone by.
Teams got the hell knocked out of them in the NCAAT by these team from these type of leagues, cause them to lose or played scared and afraid. The style was picked up and passed on, so now its in every league out there,,Play rough and hard and do what ever it takes to win..
So I don't blame the Cats for anything they do...The game has changed to 'Win at All Cost"
if that means popping someone with a elbow now and again,,then so be it...
Go Big Cuz...keep on truckin big man..

I'm not concerned with the aggressiveness at all, I'm more concerned with Bledsoe's shot selection in that game! I mean I don't know what he was thinking about on some of those shots at the end of the game..........

i ddidnt get to watch the game or see any of it all i know is that my cats won and thats all that is need to know so let them bash us but i do have to admit we go out and away games its as though the refs wont call a foul on the home team we have to earn them so ya NCAA should look in on the refs that are put in to ref a uk away game just to make sure its fair that we get treated with respect

I agree with 3fan4life, have to mute that tv when Dick V is on! Anyway, I think everyone has their breaking point and I think Bledsoe hit his that night. Might have been at the wrong place wrong time but anyone who has played basketball knows when someone is HOLDING you like Taylor was Bledsoe, it can get pretty annoying, especially when nothing is being called. So I dont blame him at all. I dont think it was "thuggish". What the heck is the deal with that word and ? TN's the ones with the guns!!!! HAHA!

I don't believe the CATS play any different than any other team, we might be a little "cocky" at times, but what team in the NCAA is not. I feel that Kentucky is looked at for this more than other teams due to their status and tradition. But we must control this in the NCAA tourn. because it has been talked about so much, other teams are gonna try to use this to their advantage and the refs will be watching even closer. We must stay focused and understand that we can be beat on any given night.

I was at the game and im not one to say the refs are giving an unfair advantage just because the balls not rolling our way, but i dont see how refs can call a technical on eric when ogilvy comes from behind wall twice with no intention of going for the ball grabs him and throws him to the floor to save 2 points; maybe i just have no idea what fouls are these days..

first of all cousins took a knee to the face before doing what he did and bledsoe was getting leaned on so how are we playing dirty. somebody gets pushed they push back thats life. if you don't adjust to the team you are playing you are known as a whats called a loser. you cant win a basketball game playing soft.
