Go ahead and get your bread and milk now, we're looking at a possible snow storm at the end of this week. Reports are calling for anything between 6-12 inches. I like watching Belski's blog for early reports:

Looks like we may get 3-6 inches here in Prestonsburg, but the folks south of Hal Rogers Parkway and along the Tennessee border could see up to a foot of snow or maybe more.
Cant wait....prolly will just be a dusting.
Actually charlie, Caldwell is only one calling for us to get 3-6. Bailey, T.G. Schuck, Weather.com and Accuweather have all said our area should get more than 6. I don't care anymore though, if were not going to get close to a foot then I don't want it.

The models are still moving around a bit and leaving a lot of uncertainty with the snow totals for today and tonight. The storm has slowed which would normally allow for more precip however the dew points are low and the cold air is setting in which means it will take a while for the storm to saturate the atmosphere. Last night the models were north and today they are back south which will also impact where the heavy swath runs from west to east.
We shall see....
The latest run of the NAM just came in. It has shifted back North and has slowed down to the point that east ky and southern ky should get a lot more than expected on Saturday now. It is just a matter of waiting and letting the forecasters shift their totals.

Looks like 4-6" will be the ending total in Bardstown.
